Review of Monochromatic Architecture and Minimalism – Presentation by Wayne Fisher

What an incredible and interesting presentation the members of the Hamilton Camera Club were treated to on this evening, featuring the vision and creativity of speaker Wayne Fisher. Wayne’s fresh approach challenged us to work with scenes that may exist right in front of us, but need to be examined and/or presented in a totally different way in order to fulfill its higher potential. Ideas such as taking the time to manoeuvre ourselves or our camera, to shoot through obstacles in framing our subject uniquely, to composing with elements instead of entire subjects, or to flip our subjects in post-production… all provided an exciting list of techniques to apply. A fun and engaging speaker, Wayne made many new fans with his creative techniques.
