2022/23 Imagination Station Workshop with Various Presenters

2022/23 Imagination Station Workshop with Various Presenters

Imagination is the core of photography

Join us on Feb 11 to jump start your creative process

This IN-PERSON ONLY workshop features a variety of table-top set-ups that can be used to produce a number of different image elements or image styles.  Several stations will be set up with props and accessories for a hands-on experience.  Travel from station to station and let your imagination go. Draw on the expertise and inspiration of fellow members. Work together to see where your imagination takes you.

  • Required: your own camera and lens(es)
  • Suggested (nice if you have but not required): tripod, reflector,  flash (speedlight), flash diffuser

Knowledgeable club members will help guide you through the process of capturing an image that can be used in whatever creative way you can think of.

Here are some examples of things that you might find at the workshop:

Lens Ball

Oil & Water

Plastic Polarization

City Scapes

Folded Paper

Soap Bubbles

We still need a volunteer to be responsible for one of the table top setups.  All you would need to do is provide the set (and set it up)/tools/inspiration for one of the ideas listed in the table above or something else you think will spark someone’s imagination.  Please note:

  1. You are not responsible for manning the station.
  2. At the end of the session, we will need you to be responsible for cleaning up your station.

Volunteers can download a pdf version of the volunteer sign-up sheet here.  Also Please contact Gail@ vicepresident@hamiltoncameraclub.com to volunteer for a station.
