Clydesdale Outing

On a beautiful sunny Oct day close to 40 members assembled to shoot some horses. No animals were injured in the process and the only trophies taken home were images of some gorgeous Clydesdales. Lorie and her family once again were willing hosts and thanks to Gail MacLellan for setting this up. At times it was hard to get a shot without people in it especially once the mints came out. Give a horse a mint and it’s like having a parrot on your shoulder, it won’t go away. They also loved the carrots but one needed to be cautious or the hand might get nipped (no name here). After the crowd thinned out and the treats were gone they went back to doing their horse things like grazing. All in all it was a wonderful day. Submitted by Tom Kallsen
