Capture the Fall Colours!
Our planning committee has discovered a number of opportunities to capture the beautiful colours of the fall season. Follow the links to find out more!
This site is a map and report of the fall colours in Ontario.
According to http://www.400eleven.com/seasons/fall/colour-progression-report one of the best areas is the Muskoka region. The website also provides the following link (http://www.400eleven.com/seasons/fall/colour-progression-report#Road-Trips) for fall road trips and drives. The same website gives the following directions for a Muskoka road trip.
Another website, again for the Muskoka area, is the Ontario Fall Colour Report: http://www.discovermuskoka.ca/ontario-fall-colour-report.html.
Heading in a different direction (except for the section on Algonquin Park) is this weblink: http://www.where.ca/ontario/toronto/where-to-see-the-best-fall-colours-near-toronto/.
Forks of the Credit is a popular place to visit for Fall Colours. Just don’t try to drive through on Thanksgiving Day. It’s more like a parking lot.
Enjoy the Wonders of Fall- York Durham Heritage Railway: Enjoy the fall colours of the Oak Ridges Moraine from your seat on board our heritage train.
