It was a great evening filled with old and new acquaintances as the HCC kicked off it’s 2023 season with an Open House on Monday September 11, 2023. The festivities began with a camera gear sale & swap prior to the meeting. The new club year was opened by an introduction of the new club executive. Incoming HCC President, Tom Kallsen was in great form (as usual!), welcoming returning members and introducing new guests who had attended the event to learn about our club.
Tom then shared a variety of inspiring photography with the attendees, offering up a look at last season’s club winning photographers in each category along with their images. After this, everyone was treated to a mini A/V show featuring a variety of beautiful photographs.
Also discussed were the season’s upcoming workshops and their respective presenters, as well as featured guest speakers and their topics for the season ahead. Important dates and events were covered as well as a summary of the HCC’s list of Clinic Assignments.
Tom also asked members to consider organizing an outing or becoming a mentor. Anyone interested in more information about either of these items should contact Tom at President@HamiltonCameraClub.com
There is certainly a lot to look forward to in our upcoming calendar, and our Open House was a great opportunity for all to prepare for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
