the Open House Part –

Members of the Hamilton Camera Club are eager to share their passion for photography.  Whether you have been taking pictures all your life, are just starting to explore photography or are somewhere in-between; the Hamilton Camera Club offers something for people of every skill level, experience and background.

We have numerous events throughout the year including; exciting Guest Speakers on discussing a variety of topics, Workshops that provide a variety of educational opportunities, and organized Photographic Outings were you can shoot with and learn from other club members at different locations in a friendly, fun, and encouraging environment.

Plus, we offer a completely voluntary program of “clinics.”  These learning opportunities can help improve your photography.  If you like, you can submit up to 5 images per clinic and receive gentle feedback from experienced and qualified judged who can provide suggestions for improvements.

At the Open House, you will have ample opportunity to ask questions, to get answers, to explore what the club has to offer and to interact with other friendly photography enthusiasts.

7:45pm on Monday, September 11^th, 2023.

The Swap Meet Part –

If you have some thing (or things) related to photography that is/are cluttering up your place and would like to see if it/they might be of use to someone else, please bring the item (or items) to the hall at 7:00pm.  Be sure to bring price and ownership labels and a fix them to your item(s).  The labels will help ensure that the purchasers can give their money to the right person.

On the other hand, If you have some cash that you would like depart with in exchange for some interesting camera gear be sure to come to the Swap Meet sometime around 7:15pm to start your personal Christmas shopping.  Interestingly, if you like, you can be both a buyer and a seller at our completely commission-free Swap Meet.

Finally, if you want to keep all your gear AND all your cash, come to the swap meet anyway — meet and greet other photography enthusiasts, share a few stories, make some new friends, renew some old acquaintances or just watch from the sidelines as other people get great deals on gear!
