About Clinics

Clinics provide club members with an opportunity to share their images with other photography enthusiasts plus clinics are a great opportunity to learn and improve one’s photography skills.

Members can submit their images, either print or digital, to a clinic and then receive a score out of 30 for each image entered in the clinic. In addition, Members can request a constructive comment from the judges for an image entered in each clinic. As an added bonus, the Hamilton Camera Club will track your scores, allowing members to be recognized for the improvement in their efforts as they advance through the ranks from Junior to Multiple Star Master.

Please note that maker of images with a total score of less then 18 will remain anonymous.

Image Divisions, Categories & Assignment Topics

You can choose to enter an image in either one of two divisions: print or projected. Projected images will be presented, along with the judging results, at a club meeting using a digital media. Whereas, physical prints which will be displayed, along with the judging results, at one of our in-person meetings.

When submitting an image for a clinic you are asked to choose one of four categories to help the judges assess the image. The categories are Assignment, Creative, Nature or Pictorial. More information about the categories and submission requirements can be found on the Rules for Clinics page.
